Check out the enhancements to our Property Comps reports
We’re happy to announce that LoopNet just made an exciting enhancement to the reporting feature in Property Comps. We've added auto-save! This means whenever you create a sales comp report on LoopNet it will now automatically be saved for future edits or re-use.
Create a sales comp report on LoopNet:
To start a report, simply select one or more comps from the search results and then click “Create Report”.
Choose among our six customizable templates and click Create Report. (We have a detailed One-Page Report, a Property Comparison Report, and a Listing Broker Call Sheet, to name a few.)
Within each report, you can edit text, enter your own details or comments, or rearrange sections. Select the “Report Options” link to configure the display of your contact info, include a map and additional photos.
When you’re ready to share with clients you can: print the report, download a PDF, or email them a link.
Accessing your saved reports
Need to step away before you’ve finished customizing - or would you like to re-use a report for different client in the future? No worries. We automatically save your reports so you can access them later. You will find them in the "My Reports and Marketing" section on My LoopNet.
Our reports will help you save time. Start a sales comp search now.

Multifamily and Residential Land REO's play big role in distressed market sales
Distressed properties remain a hot topic in commercial real estate and the number of REO sales continues to increase. In fact, REO sales have accounted for nearly 16% of all sales comps recorded by LoopNet in 2011 with Multifamily and Residential land really standing out as the category to watch.The chart to the right provides a summary of the 2011 REO sales by property type (Jan – Nov 2011).
A few highlights include:
- Multifamily and Land/Agriculture accounted for 85% of the REO sales in the market
- The Duplex/Triplex/Fourplex subcategory accounts for 83% of the Multifamily REO sales
- Residential Land/Agriculture REO sales account for 58% of the Land/Agriculture Sales
- Duplex/Triplex/Fourplex combined with Residential Land/Agriculture accounted for 61% of all the REO sales

Tips for Searching for Sales Comps - Multiple Cities and Property Types
Some members have been asking how they can search multiple cities at once when searching for sales comps on LoopNet – and we wanted to let you know that it’s just one click away!
The search page for Property Comps allows you target your searches by entering multiple cities, counties, zip codes, or states. Simply select the “More location options” link.
A pop-up will appear where you can enter multiple geographies separated by commas. (i.e. San Francisco, Oakland , San Jose)
You also can search for multiple property types or subtypes at once. Simply click the “Show property subtypes” link on the search page.
A pop-up will appear. If you hold the Ctrl key down you can select the multiple property types and subtypes that meet your criteria.
