Celebrating Loopsters for National Volunteer Appreciation Week

This week, we celebrate our Loopsters in honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week. LoopNet has always been committed to giving back to our community, but where we really shine is through the heart and dedication of our employees.

Loopsters from our Monrovia Office often help out to the Union Station Homeless Service. Chris Wong and Rahima Young serve on the Community Board and you can often find Alex Rodriguez, Irina Osherova and many others hard at work buying, cooking, and serving meals every month… including Thanksgiving Day!

And it doesn’t stop there. When Art Fong isn’t busy fiddling with his Nikon camera, he travels south to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity. He may bring his camera with him but that doesn’t stop him from lending a helping hand.

Back up north in the San Francisco Office, you’ll find even more volunteers to amazing causes. Kelly Steitz has been helping out at the Avalon Academy and in early 2010, launched AbleCloset with Scott Hetherington, another Loopster. Across the office is Karina Otrokhova who has made an incredible impact with the San Francisco division of KEEN. The efforts continue with Wayne Phillips who just recruited a gaggle of Loopsters to participate in a Stadium Stampede for the Good Tidings Foundation.

LoopNet is honored to employ a list of stellar volunteers too long to post. If you would like information on a few of our employees’ stellar non-profits, please click any of the links below. Happy Volunteer Week!
