Get the Most Out of the New LoopNet Map Search

The next time you run a LoopNet search, look at the top right corner of the search results page (make sure you're logged in). You'll see a mini map there that allows you to zoom in or pan around to search a specific area. Note that the map search is only available to Premium Members when searching For Sale and all members when searching For Lease.

To see a larger map, click Expand Map.

While we don't have polygon search yet, here's a trick. Hold down the ALT key on your keyboard and click your mouse down to draw a rectangle on the map then let go of the mouse. LoopNet will instantly zoom in and search that area.

And don't forget to check out the Bird's Eye view. Just toggle to it from the controls at the top left corner of the map.

There's more to come. We realize the map search is not perfect. We're working to make it better. Keep the feedback coming!

LoopNet’s New Property Database Frees Up Valuable Time and Resources

Thanks to LoopNet’s Property Research Database, Nicholas Dizona from Real Property Appraisals, PC now has a full-time employee available to focus on fresh initiatives. "I have an employee that has been doing nothing but adding historical listing information into the company database. He would type the address into Google and gather information to help us build out our market data. We don't need to do that anymore.”

LoopNet’s Property Research Database has changed the way Mr. Dizona does business. Waiting on data gathering, consolidation and reporting to get rigorous market data once cost him precious time and resources. No more.

That suits Mr. Dizona just fine. “I was recently researching an office building in Council Bluffs, Iowa and was able to find the previous asking rents, information on the existing tenants and general trend data,” said Dizona. “It’s amazing to have all this data in one place. It’s such an advantage, it doesn't feel fair.”

Mr. Dizona may still be working on a to-do list for his employee, but he has at least one idea for how he could spend some of that time himself: “I might actually have to buy some LoopNet stock!” said Dizona, “The new Property Research Database is exceptional. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
