Foothill Unity Center School Supply Drive and Distribution

When the local food bank asked for assistance with school supplies for the low income, LoopNet was ready to help. Over a week’s time, LoopNet employees collected 21 bins of backpacks, paper, pens, pencils, crayons, calculators and the list goes on and on. With the generous match by LoopNet, we were also able to donate $1050 to Foothill Unity Center to complete our donation to the back to school drive. Just a few short weeks later, a group of employees volunteered at Santa Anita Park where over 1300 kids came to receive their back to school gear, clothes and haircuts. It was our mission that day to provide face painting and add that fun factor to their day. These children got our attention and we gave back butterflies, Olympic rings and soccer balls painted on their smiling faces. It was a joy, and surely not the last time we participate in that.
