How to Use ProspectList

ProspectList, a part of Premium Membership, matches your property with LoopNet’s database of buying and leasing requirements, and gives you contact information for participating prospects and the means to send a customized email to these prospects.

NOTE: A listing must be approved before you can access ProspectList. Most listings are approved within 24 hours on LoopNet.

How to Use ProspectList:

  1. Log in to www.LoopNet.com or if you are already logged in go to MyLoopNet.
  2. When adding a new listing, click “View ProspectList” on the confirmation page (skip to step 5).
  3. Access a listing you’ve already added by selecting the “My Listings” tab and selecting “For Sale” or “For Lease”.
  4. Select the “PL” (ProspectList) icon for the listing you would like to view.
  5. To review the matching buyers, brokers and other commercial real estate professionals interested in your listing, click the “Principals” and “Brokers & Other Members” tabs.
  6. To email your listing to ALL users in the Principals list, simply leave all the names checked.
    OR
    Deselect the members you wish to exclude for this mailing.
  7. To email your listing to ALL users in the Brokers & Other Members list, simply leave all the names checked.
    OR
    Deselect the members you wish to exclude for this mailing.
  8. Click “Customize Email” and type in the email addresses (separated by semi-colons) for any additional people who you want to receive your listing information. Or, if you already have email addresses saved on LoopNet, simply click “Insert Emails from your Saved Email List”.
  9. Enter the email subject, header and message text in the appropriate boxes.
  10. Check the box at the bottom if you wish to save any new email addresses to your LoopNet Saved Email List.
  11. Click the preview email link on the right to review your email before you send it.
  12. Click “Send Email”.
  13. To review a list of all members to whom you have already sent a “ProspectList” email for this listing, click the “Emails Sent” tab.
